Freesat is a British free-to-Air satellite service, first formed as a joint venture between the BBC and ITVplc. It uses the same dish platform and the new recording boxes will allow 4 simultaneous recordings however this would require a different type of LNB (microphone on end of dish) They also have the latest catch up TV services (except All4) including Netflix and Prime. Available as standalone with no recording and 500GB, 1TB and a massive 2TB Hard Drives for recording, they are easy to use and are a suitable alternative to pay per view platforms such as SKY.
