What is Freesat from Sky?
Freesat is a new way to get free-to-air digital satellite TV, providing access to a choice of some fantastic TV and radio programmes on offer in the
UK in crystal clear digital quality. Catch all your favourites
from BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel4 and five, plus great extra channels such as BBC3, BBC4, CNN, Travel Channel
and loads more. And with interactive services including email, SMS text service, betting and online
shopping, you can do more than just watch.

Can I receive Freesat even though I can't get Freeview in my area?
Sky’s incredible 98% coverage means it’s almost certain you’ll be able to receive the digital satellite signal even if you live
in an area where you can’t receive Freeview’s digital terrestrial signal,
such as Eastbourne.
How many channels will I get with Freesat from Sky?
You will receive 120 TV channels and 80 radio channels. You can also
upgrade at any time to a Sky subscription to receive premium sports,
entertainment and movie channels.
How much does Freesat cost?
The Sky box, minidish, initial viewing card and standard installation costs £200. Once you've bought your Sky
box and dish, one of our fully trained installers will visit your home,
deliver and fit your equipment, and provide a demonstration of the
features. If you already have a Sky minidish installed the cost of the
Sky box and installation will be £150.
